Our Relationship With Dorsey Tire

Local Towing Service Savannah GA

We love to hear from our customers, especially partners who have been with us for a while. Michael Plamondon, from Dorsey Tire, recently sat down with us to express how we have impacted him and his company. He has been with his company for twelve years and now serves as a sales manager and head of warehouse inventory in Savannah, GA. The working relationship between Michael and Tim’s Towing began a little over a decade ago, and Michael expressed that “everyone’s just been awesome.” His company sees us as a friend, and we are there for each other if there is a problem with either company. As a family-owned and operated company, we were happy to hear that Michael has experienced the personal service we strive to provide. “[They are] people that actually care about you at the end of the day.” he shared.

He’s known our owner, Chad, and Craig, our manager, for roughly nine years. Now, whenever Michael has the chance to make a delivery to us, he takes it. He will be gone from his office for hours because he’s enjoying spending time and catching up with us at Tim’s Towing. It’s a real friendship. Michael feels that the relationship between Dorsey Tire and Tim’s Towing has been one of open communication and respect.  He highlighted that we value the Golden Rule of treating others the way we want to be treated, stating that “if you want to be treated with respect, the golden rule, like you’re a person, you go to Tim’s Towing.” We believe that in any good business, you must follow that rule to gain mutual respect and trust from your partners, employees, and customers.

When considering how he gets treated by our competitors, he said, “you get treated like a number…You don’t get that personal feel.” He continued, “I want to get treated like I’m an actual person or a human, and [Tim’s Towing is] able to do that…for me, there’s only one [towing company] in town.” “They are actually thankful for your business…They’re easy to deal with, I can’t stress that enough. I mean, super easy.”

We take great pride in our trucks and the quality that we give our customers, as Michael noted,

“One thing I could tell you though about that company is their trucks – I mean, the attention to detail and the actual overall pride they have in them, that’s pretty cool. A lot of people you see in Savannah are just running junk. Everything [Tim’s Towing has] is polished clean; they’re proud of it. It’s pretty cool to see.”

This partnership has been years in the making, and we are thankful for every year we’ve worked with Michael and Dorsey Tire. As Michael says, he’s “never had an issue.” with [us].” We look forward to many more years of successful teamwork and friendship.

If you are looking for a towing company that values quality care and respect, you can always count on Tim’s Towing & Recovery. Whether you need anything from roadside assistance to heavy-duty towing, you can always contact us! We are ready to get started when you are.
